What is the cheapest way to get to Panama City?

The cheapest option to get to Panama City from Tocumen Airport or vice versa is by Metrobus. A prepaid card must be purchased before leaving the airport (single fare of US$0.25 to any destination. See more

Where is the waiting zone for the Uber or Cabify?

If you asked for Uber or another ride share app, you must exit the arrivals level and cross the street until you reach the parking area. Wait for the Driver in the parking row you selected in the app, between Rows 15 and 18.

If you can’t find it, contact the driver again through the app.

Is it possible to get a SIM card at the airport?

Passengers can obtain a SIM card at one of the automatic kiosks located in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, or Travel Data Global stores located in the arrivals area, in front of boarding gate 130-131) another in the transit area in front of the boarding gate (138-139) and one at the North Pier. Schedule: from 5:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Is it open 24 hours a day?

The airport operates 24 hours a day with some restaurants and cafes available at night as well as a Duty Free shop, luggage storage, car rental desks and lounges. The rest of the stores usually open from 6 am to 9 pm.

How is the connection between the terminals?

Terminals 1 and 2 are connected by a 170-meter-long pedestrian corridor.

What to do in case of a long layover?

For passengers who have a long wait for a connecting flight and want to take advantage of that long layover, can go for a shopping tour to Panama City. The Panama Tourism Authority offers free shuttle services to and from the Metromall Shopping Center, located approximately 15 minutes from the airport. See more

Is it accessible for passengers with reduced mobility?

The airport has elevators, bathrooms, signages, parking and ramps for wheelchairs. In Terminal 2, the airport also has exclusive blue seats for passengers with reduced mobility in the waiting areas of boarding gates. If you are a passenger with special needs, contact and arrangements with your airline are recommended at least 48 hours before the flight.

What to do in case of loss of valuables or luggage?

In case of losing documentation or belongings within the terminal building or in parking areas, you must contact the lost and found office located on the ground floor and operate from Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm – Tel +507 238 2938; email: objetosextraviados@tocumenpanama.aero – online form). There is a branch of Banco Nacional de Panama at level 100. There are also two desks of Currency Exchange (Travelex), one on level 100 and one in dutty Free area. In turn there are ATMs of the following banks: Scotiabank, Banistmo, Davivienda, Global Bank, Banco Panama, Caja de Ahorros, Banco Nacional de Panamá among others.

Is there any smoking section?

There is no smoking area, as the airport is smoke free, not only inside but also in open or closed physical areas with access to the public, in workplaces, access doors, parking lots, toilets in general, any place with public activity of the terminal where collaborators and users attend.

Does the airport offer Firs Aid services?

Tocumen Airport has an emergency clinic on level 100, in the area of car rental companies, but if necessary medical personnel are transferred to any area of the airport, in case the patient needs it.
If it is a serious situation, the patient is stabilized and transferred to a hospital, as the airport has ambulances. There is no cost to this medical service.
